'Yarraga' Federal

Byron Bay Hinterland
400 m²

property description

Unwind, relax and take pleasure in the simple things. That’s exactly what you’ll find yourself doing during your hinterland luxury getaway at Yarraga. You’ll feel miles away from the bustle of everyday life from the moment you enter your private driveway and absorb the sub-tropical scenery.

Of course the grandeur of this 105-year old home, with its sprawling gardens, only adds to the sense of seclusion. You’ll fall in love with its traditional features: wide hallways, high ceilings, decorative timber-work, a generous verandah and Federation doors and windows. All of this makes Yarraga a charming, restful and comfortable getaway.

Whether you’re relaxing or entertaining, there’s room for everyone in the fully equipped large kitchen, living and dining areas. Light streams through the homestead, highlighting its history while also allowing its contemporary elements to shine. This can be seen in the bathrooms which provide you with a touch of modern luxury through patterned tiles and high quality fixtures. The four bright, spacious and beautifully styled bedrooms offer all the comfort you could ever need. That includes an enormous master suite which has an ensuite and private sunroom.

Even if you’re not keen on the outdoors, this holiday home is sure to change your mind! The swimming pool along with its French inspired courtyard is enough to have you wanting to head outside. Al fresco dining is encouraged – simply gather around and take a seat on the verandah, at the poolside courtyard or under the trees. And if you’re in the mood for a picnic with a view you can take a stroll along one of the private walking tracks. There really is something for everyone in this secluded parcel of hinterland beauty.

The outdoor spaces continue to delight with acres of macadamia trees, lookouts across the valley, landscaped rose gardens and our favourite our very own outdoor yoga/meditation stage.
